I was, by all accounts, picking up pencils and drawing cars before I could walk, so it seemed I was destined for some sort of career in the art world.

Discovering the technical illustration course at Cornwall Technical College, which combined two of my great interests, drawing and all things mechanical, was a revelation.

After graduating I stepped hesitantly onto the illustration scene in London, and many years later, although having long since left the bright lights for the coast, I'm still sitting at my drawing board scribbling away.

I have diversified away from the  purely technical  to include figurework, historical subjects and just about anything else that comes along.

The airbrush, acrylics and Rotring pens have largely given way to the Mac, Photoshop and Cinema 4D these days - but I still enjoy the creation of new artwork, whatever the media.
