"I guess that as it happened to many illustrators, it all started when I was a child. I used to read a lot then, I keep reading a lot, but I started back then. I have several books from those years that I still love. "Mog the cat" "Los babuchos de pelo verde" "Socorro" "Los enanos de Mantua" "Abuelita Opalina" "Bibiana y su mundo" and "Camilon Comilón" are some of them. I used to spend a lot of time imagining all the scenes in those stories. Back then my dream was to become a writer and tell stories like those. Now I can tell them but in a different way.

I took several art courses during high school and university, like photography, embroidery, knitting, etc. and I graduated as textile design in UBA.  I've been drawing since I was a little girl, but I did it just for fun. When my first job as an illustrator came I immediately felt it was perfect for me. To work as an illustrator and use my imagination in my daily work is wonderful. The best part of my job is the sensation of being a child for a while, creating again the perfect scenes for those stories.

Daily, I write and draw comics strips too. I always take ideas from the simplest and everyday things that surround me to write the scripts. Music, books, pictures, friends, family, nature, routine, etc. are my inspiration. I just try to pay attention.
I also love knitting and embroidering. I've being mixing this and illustration lately and I enjoyed the results.
I like to work directly with the materials; paper, acrylics, watercolours, threads, etc. but I also like working with my computer and mixing it all.

I work in my own studio, a room in my house, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There I'm all surrounded by books, pictures, and threads. I constantly listen soft music while I work and I always keep something to drink by my side."
