I am a California girl and crazy cat lady. 

I've always loved to draw...it was something that I felt way down deep in my heart that I could do, as there was nothing else that would make me happier than when I am drawing. 

After graduating from California Institute of the Arts, I got my first "dream job" at Disney, working on 'The Lion King'...It was so exciting! I love drawing monsters and animals, usually more whimsical and sometimes abstract stuff, because it's more fun!

The best part about being an illustrator is the challenge of doing a good drawing or layout... AND that's the hardest, most frustrating part too!

I first put on 'Spongebob', then I put on my crappiest sweatpants, and then I settle down and start drawing. I work on my couch, where I have 5 very demanding bosses, one whom insists on sitting on my lap while I'm working, while another one demands to be fed each hour. I do have a studio where there is more of a proper setup...but the couch is more comfortable!

I think because I have been fortunate enough to have found work as an illustrator/ cartoonist, I have found my perfect job!
